BioI am a natural witch. In my incarnation as Miranda, an evil warlock by the name of Judah Zachary took me into his coven. I was a carpenter's daughter, and my parents had died recently. He recognized my natural abilities, exposed me to uses of these abilities that I had not considered, and exploited me and the others in the coven. When Judah became obsessed with Penelope Collins and dismissed me, I made his witchcraft practice known to the Town Council. After his trial, Judah was beheaded as a result of my testimony. This was a serious mistake on my part, and consequently, I went underground for many years. My next incarnation was Angelique Bouchard.
Unlike ordinary mortals, I am aware of my eternal nature, and have memories of each incarnation. I know my beginnings, and it is all one eternal life to me. As Angelique, I always feared being discovered by Judah. I never referred to my name, Miranda, but always used Angelique - as though that would keep me safe.
Barnabas Collins is my true love, but his love for Josette interfered with our happiness. Ultimately and eternally, Barnabas and I will be together.
